Frequently Asked Questions
Does Reward Management provide advice to individual employees about their remuneration?
No, we only work for employers. If you think your remuneration package needs to be reviewed, why not ask your boss to contact us for an impartial assessment?
You are based in Auckland. Do you consult with companies outside that area?
Absolutely we do! Technology allows us to provide consulting services to any client, anywhere, including overseas. We often need to conduct interviews but that can be done over the phone, at your convenience. Sometimes, because of the confidential nature of our work, clients prefer to have a discussion outside normal business hours, and that’s OK too.
You work in New Zealand – are your articles and books likely to be relevant for businesses in other countries?
There are inevitably legal and cultural differences between jurisdictions, but we try to focus on the common ground of remuneration and reward policy and practice which Managers are dealing with every day. For that reason, while we hope that our documentation is useful internationally, we cannot accept responsibility for the use of our products or services outside New Zealand. Please see our Terms of Trade page for further details – click here.
Does Reward Management Ltd carry out market surveys?
No, we don’t on a regular basis. We are an independent company and can advise you on the best sources of data for your requirements. There are several specialist companies serving our market (and overseas, if you need information for expatriates), and we try to recommend the best value proposition for your needs.
If your specific requirements for data are not met by published surveys, we can assist either by carrying out a tailored, one-off survey for you, or by assisting you to identify a specialist company which can carry it out for you.
